katlyn and John will be here tonight! It will be wonderful to see them. And hey, an excuse to make the yummy chicken in champagne sauce again!
Tree is up and decorated and tempting to little boys and kitties.
Saturday we are having a few folks over for gleuwine and roasting chestnuts and random other nibbly things. Sunday is the ornament exchange. New ornaments have been purchased since the others have disappeared. I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should bring food. Generally these are potluck things at people's houses... this year it's at a restaurant, but one that a family member manages, and it's not entirely clear whether it's a reservation with a waiter to take our orders, or a "hey, we can stick everyone in the back banquet room" kind of thing. Very tricksy.
