If you are ever making tea at the office, and you put your hot water in a cup with the sugar, but forget to put the bag in to steep, and then notice when the water is lukewarm, and you put the bag in then, but it only turns a light reddish shade like some sort of fruit punch or koolaid, just throw it out and start over. Do not attempt to fix it by adding a little more hot water and re-steeping it.
