Updating updatedness

I have alot I need to write about - so I'll be making several entries with cut-tags I think, and people can read what they want.

Public service announcement:
Home Depot (at least the one near me) has a whole lot of Christmas cacti selling for ONE CENT. They are not the most gorgeous blossoming things, but they aren't dead either - one cent each! I had to pick up a couple and kinda wish I'd just gotten a whole shelf-full for a quarter.
