It's a theme!
Dec. 30th, 2002 02:29 pmFive things that 2002 taught me:
The world will not end if I tell someone what I really think instead of being polite. If they didn't want to hear it, they shouldn't have asked.
Going back to school was the right thing to do.
I like to immerse myself in learning about new things almost to the point of obsession.
You can't make people happy if they want to be miserable.
Sometimes, having fun is more important than being practical.
Five personally significant events of 2002:
Buying our first house.
Getting kittens and a menagerie of little fishes with Nate.
Losing my mother-in-law to cancer.
Overcoming my inner demons.
Reestablishing who I am and what I stand for.
Five things I want to do in 2003:
Be a better housekeeper.
Finalize schemes for remaining interior of house & the yards.
Get down to my desired weight/size.
Continue with school.
Finish up old projects.
Five things I don't want to do in 2003:
Die.
Lose financial balance.
Lose momentum.
Drown baby bunnies.
Turn into a wedge of cheddar cheese.
