Went by Connie's but they didn't have much - no more of the bristlenose plecos which is what I really wanted to get and just well - we've seen all their fish, nothing new and exciting. So we went to Petco. We went last night about 5 minutes before they closed and had glanced around. Anyway, we ended up bringing home two dojo loaches (also known as weather loaches) and three clown loaches. They are sooo cute! And very entertaining. We also got alot of kitten preparation done at Big Lots/MacFrugals and Petco.
Ended up going to WalMart also, and brought home a ghost shrimp. I've been wanting Icthulu to have a little buddy and I've read ghost shrimp are compatible, so hopefully they'll be happy together. Plus, he was 26 cents! Less than gum and my betta has a friend. I don't know if he's even noticed him yet though.
Also fish related... Icthulu doesn't seem too thrilled with the freeze dried blood worms (treat food) so while getting fish I picked up little packets of dead bloodworms suspended in a high protein gel stuff (made from nutritious stuff like mosquito larva) to see if he likes that better. Will find out later this week.
Jay thinks I'm making all the fish turn gay. Only time will tell I guess. They are cute no matter what! ::::loves the fishies:::

your tiger barbs keep putting their face down and ass up and schooling that way(perhaps youve heard of the term pillow bitter???)
your dojo loches keep swiming up like they gona get air then diving back down and ramming the "bottem".
not to mention what the dojo loche and the clown locke were doing to the theremonoter(which got renamed to fingercuff)
about the only none homosexual fish their is the ghost shrimp and he was doing the running man(altho not homosexual its very suspect)
oh yea also i had to make the comment "hes not kicking his ass, hes doing something with it but it sure aint kicking it" to describ what your clown was doing to a loach. hehe GREAT line.
nothing wrong with haveing homosexual fish but you have to come to grips that your imposeing your veiws on them forceing them into a life style that they might not pick if left on theeir own.
