Dad's visiting from Roswell. Made him promise to send me a postcard, and I mean it this time, dammit. Anyway, it was nice to see him. He seems like he's doing alright. Tentative plans to visit him out there once he's settled into his new house and it's not so hot.
Need to get stuff together now to head out for sewing circle. Oh, and we got new fishies... they are happily swimming around. Put the betta in the big tank and three new barbs on the community side and then another three new barbs went in the 2 gallon tank with the surviving barb. All the fishies seem happy. My betta is so funny... we gave him a mirror so he can puff up sometimes, and made a slip of thin cardstocky stuff to slide down and hide the mirror so he can relax sometimes. Well, once we hid it, there was a thin strip of mirror, and he kept swimming by and puffing up for the second his eye passed the strip. It is just too cute.
Okay, time to get ready to go.
