Long day, sleepy Amy, spastic update.

sublimatedangelDid not fully prepare ourselves to spend the night in Livermore (too much stuff we needed to take and not enough time this morning) so we are back in CV. Today... went well? I don't know exactly what to say, that sounds wrong.
Went to the gravesite and had a little visit. Very windy up there, and no one could seem to understand that I didn't want a jacket. Enh, that happens to me sometimes. Anyway, Cassie is doing not so well... she's had issues with her feet for quite a while and it's gotten so much worse - she rode with us and between her being sick and what she's normally like and the long drive etc... well, it was an interesting day. I don't regret any of it but it was so long. Bah, I hate it when I don't make sense. I'm tired.
Met Jen & Lew as they were down/over/whatever. Very nice, I like them a whole bunch. I hope we get to go visit them in the next few years. Chatted house-stuff with them a bit and saw a few pics of their lovely place in Wales.
Becky & I got on well and talked recipe stuff. The children were... fairly well behaved during the day but they are used to being rambunctious in the evenings and the little angels became intractable screaming running bundles of trouble waiting to happen. God, I love my fish. Fish are so quiet and obediant, aren't they?

We have decided to call him Icthulu. Pictures not available since we didn't go to the house today. Expect some erm... Mondayish maybe. He's gorgeous.
