Easter weekend in review....

sublimatedangelFriday was... interesting. My mom locked her car-door-unlocker device in her car, so she called me. Needed a ride home to get the spare. No problem. Well, Nate has my car so I get to drive the big monster SUV which is not a big deal, I just have to be a little more careful. I think I scare my mom when I drive though. Oh well! Successfully got her spare unlocking device control and dropped her back at her car. Yippee me!
Saturday was good. Took our time getting up and then headed over to my mom's to get Jay. That took a little while because he had chores, but eventually we headed out to Half Moon Bay area so I could get lighthouse and beach pictures. Target successful. Came back to our place and cut Jay's hair and made him watch Invader Zim. Yes, we have all gotten hooked :) Happy happy.
Sunday - up and out the door a bit later than ideal, but not too late. Baskets and spare clothes and etc all piled into my car to head up to Jennifer's sister's place for the big Easter thing. W00t! That was lots and lots of fun! The hunt was good, I got some nice flowers and a little bit of candy and a few misc items. The children and the dogs (both of which there were many) were all pretty well behaved, and I got to meet some people I've heard a bit about. Yummy food, good company (Jennifer, Rois, Stasha, Duane, & Liam were all there), nice weather... I am happy and would love to be invited back next year.
Need to go to Mom's later tonight for a little more Easter goodness, but that is most of the weekend :) Hope everyone else's was just as happy!
