sublimatedangelFeel like I'm not updating about everything that's going on, but I can never seem to remember what I needed to write about...
Just did my reading so that is out of the way. Have a writing assignment I need to do still, but it will be very easy, it's just a refinement of an in-class project. Last night Jennifer scooped me up, bought me dinner, took me home to meet her mom and of course her doggy. Bodie got used to me quickly and after we convinced him to eat, we took him out to box up some of the stuff in her studio. Her studio is not nearly the mess she made it out to be, but she says it's because she's been making progress. I was able to get some boxes together and feel like I was helpful rather than in the way. Got directions home and made it back without getting lost at all, which is always nice. Hung out for a bit with Nate and Mike before I had to remind them that Nate had work today and needed to go to bed...
This weekend we'll be going out to the Celtic Faire either Friday night or Saturday morning, and then birthday party at his dad's house on Sunday. Will probably make a cake or something for him on Tuesday too, so he can celebrate a bit with the Changeling group. For anyone that wants to send an e-card, the official day is March 17th, and he'll be turning 26. No, really, that's the right number this time.... :)
Errr... I think that's everything of importance?

Date: 2002-03-13 04:44 pm (UTC)I had a friend invite me to play nobles with them this season (she's the head of the Ambassadors for the guild that plays the Scottish Royal court at most of those things) but I don't have a costume ready (course... she offered me hers, but...)
And it's your dad's birthday? *grins* Kinda sounds that way from your post.

We were up there last year and had a good time, so thought we'd do it again. We probably won't go in costume, though that's still kind of up in the air. His dad is in Modesto, so it's kind of on the way back, and people are used to gathering there for holidays, birthdays, etc.

I'm not sure if she'll be playing Mary-the-Queen that weekend or not, but if you ask around for "The Princess of Poland" people will still know who you're talking about (pic here (http://www.st-andrews-scots.org/gallery/3g.jpg) or here (http://www.st-andrews-scots.org/gallery/4e.jpg) - The beautiful blonde in the gorgeous garb - her name's Marti). Give her a *squidge* from me (tell her Nievita or IcyRavens from Clan Shaw, not Katlyn). Also know people from St. Sebastian's (the archers) but the only person I'd say to *squidge* would be Edward, and I don't remember his faire name (Captain Something-or-other. Could very well be Captain Edward, for all I remember.)
