We accomplished little, but we gained much.
Tomorrow I will probably wind up over at Rois's for sewing yumminess at some point. Nate wants to do some fiddly thing with my brakes, so he will probably drop me off and pick me up. Hmm... unless Jennifer wants to carpool? But generally that's tricky since I'm not sure what time I'd be ready to go over. So will probably have Nate play chauffeur (sp?). I need a couple bits of boning that are just smaller than the smallest size I ordered. I may see if Rois has some she wants trade for some I have so I don't have to place a new order. Of course, I'm thinking I might want to get some spiral steels so I may place a new order anyways in the near future. Gah, I try to plan too many projects. Half of them never get started because they get pushed off the list to make room for the new stuff. Oh well :)
Looked at a house today but apparently it's sold - the person is supposed to pull down more listings for us. It's too bad, it was promising. I just greatly desire the ability to do house-y things. Not that I neccessarily have time, but I have the desire and the ability. Now I just need a house to do it with. Ah well, I have faith that we will find something, and since we like where we're at it's not an immediate issue.
I want to cut out a pattern for underwear to go with the corset and also a pattern from one of my skirts that I really would love if it was longer in the back. So I shall probably do that tonight or tomorrow morning, and then begin looking for happy skirt fabrics. Sure, sure, it is raining lately, but spring/summer weather is coming and I want flirty pleated things to wear in the sunshine. I am not sure yet if I want to make matching vest and/or jacket items. I should decide this before I get fabric to make sure I have enough.
