I just remembered, with all my whining, I didn't mention my odd dream...

We had a homicidal cat. Not just homicidal in the normal way. As in, it deliberately killed people, and then mutilated and hid their bodies. Underneath our floorboards. We didn't discover it was the cat until very late in the dream.... people in the town just kept disappearing. It was an ocean town, and alot of people thought it was people getting pulled out to sea off the shore by the strong currents, and there was some weird call-for-help gizmo that we were supposed to wear in case we got pulled out. Eventually, our family of four was down to two people and we somehow knew it was one of the kittens, but we had two kittens.... Then we realized one had never really warmed up to us and acted normal, so it was the one. The cat was leaving hints around the house at this point, toying with us. We (ugh) stumbled across the decaying and chopped up townspeople bodies and finally killed the evil cat. With an axe. Messily.

I really feel like this will disturb me more once I've been awake longer.
