So I keep getting greeting card notices, and I'm not sure if it's spam or not....
See, it says I have been sent and e-card, click on this link. Aww, it is a e-card place that supposedly gives 1 cent to charity for every card. And asks for your name and what charity you like. Then it offers to sign you up for spam from their sponsors, who are going to double the donation thingie. I have not signed up, I just say, give me the card. Ohhhh, but then it says, the card cannot be retrieved, and it could be because the sender sent more than 20 a day, vulgar message, commercial message, etc. Well I've gotten a couple of these. It just generally sounds fishy and I suspect it's a new spam approach to get people to sign up with the sponsors.
However, on the off chance it IS genuine, I wanted to throw a heads up to anyone who might be sending me e-cards from http://www.egreetingplace.net.... I'm not getting em.
