I think I'm going to make little sachets for all the girls on my xmas list. They should be easy, elegant, & fun... I need to go pick out some potpourri and maybe also some lace. I have plenty of fabric and stuffing. *sigh* I wish boys were this easy to make stuff for. Don't have a clue what to get them and noone has sent me a wishlist yet. Maybe I ought to start giving away some of the Mother's Day Kahlua at Xmastime. Or learn to make something else. I wonder if it would be hard to make a candy cane liquer? Heeheeheee (mad scientist giggle) Maybe I should experiment! After the holiday though, I don't think I should blow up my kitchen right before I have people over for Thanksgiving dinner.

I blame my strangeness on Cinnamon Life...

well i've known people to make kaluha for people. it didnt' seem that heard.
i'm much more of a rum cake person.

as for sachet, i usually get some good tea rose buds and lavender from whole foods.

maybe for the guys, lavender eye pillows, that way you can reuse you current materials and welcome them to the world of eyestrain relief.

Kahlua is not that hard to make - we bottle a bunch up every Mother's Day. But I have a recipe for it... I was thinking candy cane liquer might be more christmassy - no recipe though. You'd think I could just dissolve the candy canes down though and mix with vodka or something like that and it should work.

The eye pillows are a good idea... I'm not sure if they'll still think it's too girly though. I shall ask a few guys their opinions.
