sublimatedangel | 2011 - Welcome, welcome

A little late to the party, but wishing each and every one of you a fresh new start with the coming of the new year, a time of both new discoveries and rediscovery, of cherishing what has gone before and never been forgotten, and adding to those memories with new moments of abiding joy.

This year - 2010 - has been better than the last. A fairly easy feat, yes, but one that I still take time to appreciate, because it doesn't always work that way. I've been better about communicating with the people I care about (not great, but hey, better) - more journal entries, more email/text/calling people, more putting myself out there and putting things together and being social.

In 2011... I'd like to continue that progress. So many people are precious to me, connections that I both need and want to nurture... and I am at my best when I connect with them as well. I am not so insular and introspective as I once was, but I still have a ways to go.

I want to make time to create things - the stories that live inside me, the scrapbooks of memories I won't later recall as well as I'll want to, the quilts and stuffies and art that no one has seen within my heart.

On a more practical bent, I need to become a better housewife, for serious. This mostly consists of two things - organization and perserverence. I'll be working on both of them.
