Girly meme! stolen from

A: What accessories do you wear everyday?
I'm not much for accessories. My engagement and wedding ring, if they count.
B: What is your beauty routine?
Ha, um. I'm not much for routines? I generally try to keep myself groomed (haircolor up to date, unwanted hair gone, etc) but that's the only stuff I consider routine. I try to straighten my hair whenever possible (as it's got strange ideas of wave and body) and wear makeup sporadically.
C: What was the last item of clothing (for yourself) that you purchased?
Boots. Whee! I love boots.
D: Do you use a dresser, closet, or both?
Definitely both. In fact, I gradually encroach on my husband's side of the closet too. Really, I need a luxurious walk-in dressing suite... that'd solve a lot of problems.
E: What type of earrings are in your ears right now?
Nothing. I only wear them occasionally - usually simple diamond studs or pearl drops.
F: What type of figure do you have?
Curvy and overweight. Soon to obtain that lovely carrying-a-beachball silhouette :D
G: Do you wear glasses?
Nope, just cheap sunglasses when needed.
H: What type of handbag do you carry?
My current one is a handbag with lots of pouches (I have a need to compartmentalize, okay?) and has a muted print of old postcards. For a long time I was a 'simple & black' devotee, but in the last couple years I've been drifting more towards the 'but I want it to be cute' school of thought. Really, size and number of pockets are far more important though.
I: What is your ideal style?
I've never really been stylish per se. I like a lot of simple basics, I like really feminine stuff, I like some cute retro stuff, and I like things that have a lot of buckles and straps and such. I think calling myself 'ecclectic' is a kind way of putting it.
J: What is your favorite brand of jeans?
I'm not so much with the brands. I'm more about the 'super cheap and fit well' mentality.
K: Do you wear knee-hi stockings?
Er, no. Really, I just don't get those at all.
L: Do you *have* to wear matching lingerie?
I don't have to, but I almost always am. I like matchy stuff.
M: Do you wear makeup?
Yes, but not everyday. I'm working on doing it more, as it does make a difference in how I look and feel, but it's just not a habit so I often forget.
N: Do you wear nightgowns?
Working on this one.
O: What outerwear do you put on when going out on a typical winters day?
I usually dress for warmth, so don't need to add anything - it is the bay area, you know? Not as if I'm trekking through the sleet. I do have jackets that I occasionally grab (usually if I'm dressed up for some reason) and have a really cute hat and scarf that I pretty much never wear.
P: What is your favorite perfume?
I like and own a large variety, but can't really say I have a favorite, and nothing that I wear way more than anything else.
Q: Is your motto "quality over quantity" when it comes to clothing and accessories?
Enh, I'm kinda in the middle there. I want both. Plus I want it to be cheap.
R: Do you wear rain boots?
Not since I was little.
S: Do you wear socks or slippers when your feet get cold?
Usually socks. I think I have some slippers somewhere....
T: Do you have a set of travel luggage?
More than one.
U: What is your daily uniform?
Nearly always jeans, plus a tee if it's warm or a sweater if it's cold. Mules in summer and boots in winter.
V: If you are married, did you wear a veil with your wedding dress? If not, how did you do your hair?
Yes. I did my hair in a fairly simple bun. The veil was first purchased for my mother in law and is something of a family heirloom/tradition, as well as being quite beautiful (those Belgians know their lace, you know) - I was flattered and thrilled when she offered to let me wear it.
W: Do you wear a watch?
No. This used to be a problem, really, but I could never find one I liked. Now I have my phone to check the time with.
X: What item of clothing always makes you feel beautiful?
Can I choose a whole genre? I have a great and passionate love for corsets. I also have a black silk and velvet formal gown that is ridiculously impractical and gorgeous. And I still love my wedding gown.
Y: What is your favorite type of yarn?
I like yarn with a squishy, chunky texture. Chenille is great if it can keep from shedding.
Z: Do you prefer zippers or buttons?
Lacing. Buckles. Ties. Zippers.
