Happy birthday to meeeeee

sublimatedangelJust a quick update. July has been spectacular in that "omg I have way too much awesome stuff to do this month" way. July is made of 3 cups of stress and 5 cups of awesome... made in a too-small bowl with the beaters on high. Yeah. Needs more sleeping for coherence. Have some pictures!
I have a kitten! Really, I didn't make him up, you guys. His pretty green-blue eyes are more of an olive green these days, so we'll see... they may still be changing. He does adorable things like keeping me up all night purring and trying to eat carrots he steals from the boy-child.

Oh mah gosh, aren't our squishy deformed faces amazing? Don't you wish yours was?
Today was my aunt's wedding, which was lovely and awesome and other good stuff. There are pictures but I'm too lazy to edit them now, so I'll make vague promises of posting more later. You guys love it when I do that, right?
After the wedding, we came home and my sweetheart gave me a gorgeous dutch botanicals bowl that I adore, and my kid gave me a fishie I wanted, and best beloved catered to my every whim and made me strawberry shortcake belgian waffles for dinner and bought me cheesecake. Birthdays are awesome! I totally want another one that's not in such a busy month. I'll be celebrating again sometime this week with family, and then again next Saturday with everyone I can possibly convince to come have fun with me. There will be wedding bubbles! And picnic goodness and possibly kite flying, and some kind of utterly fabulous dessert. Details to be posted soonish, honest.
