So, kind of not liking the LJ much these days. I'll probably continue watching for a while, since I doubt most people I read are going to move, but I'm kind of done. On the other hand, if you do have or make a greatestjournal account, I'd love to friend you over there.

Ugh, he is a complete scumbag. I seriously hope he loses his job. He's not the only one involved, but he's - okay, temptation to degenerate into name-slinging is hard to resist, but I will do so. We'll see what actions are taken; I almost wish he/they hadn't capitulated, because we deserve better, but staying with LJ is easier and so people probably will. >:P Bleh. Still, I'll try to just be pleased that my community is strong and powerful and not to be f*d with.

Basically, LJ did something really stupid and awful and then pretended it wasn't. There's been a lot of online news coverage about it, if you want links, but the basic bottom line is that a lot of us were moving over to http://www.greatestjournal.com in protest. The CEO has since started to retract and apologize though, so I might stay here as well.
