- That fourth molar finally broke through. I really need to start thinking about finding a children's dentist.
- He turned 18 months last Sunday. He's gotten tall enough that he can reach stuff on the dining table, desks, counters, etc, which means we're getting very limited on baby-safe areas to put stuff. And he has definitely honed his trouble-seeking sense and can get into mischief at the slightest oppurtunity.
- He got his first haircut yesterday - just a bit of trimming around the ears and the very back to keep him pretty. Tricky cutting the hair of an active toddler, but neither of us cried, so that was good.
- He doesn't like to say 'mama' anymore, which makes me sad. I'm trying to think of a way to bribe him and still have him associate the word with me and not the bribe.
Status of the Amy:
- Have been feeling pretty creative. Have been doing some writing when I'm able to snag the time, and really want to get together with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
missmorte for some sewing goodness and girltalk. May also try a bit of drawing soon - I feel like all my art skills are atrophying and that makes me sad.
- I hate my hair still/again/whatever. I'd never chop it all off, but sometimes I am really really tempted.
- Nate's 30th birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. Yay party! Need to figure out what to get him.
- After the birthday party, the next social extravaganza will be a springtime tea party! In late March or early April-ish. I'm much with the looking forward to it.
Status of Other Stuff:
- Spring cleaning needs to happen desperately. We have way too much stuff.
- It's girl scout cookie season, which is eeeeeeevil. There was no way I could resist them at the supermarket today. So we have cookies.
- The weather has been crazy. But I have lovely blossoming happening on the peach tree, and my freesia are just budding up like crazy - can't wait til they're open. I love the freesia.
