I was going through the under-crib storage today and found a ton of cute clothes that Alexander never got to wear and has now outgrown. This makes Amy sad.

I've done some sewing on the cute 50's dress and some writing on my likely-never-to-be-finished fanfiction stuff. I need to go to the fabric store before I can finish the dress. Progress makes Amy happy but not finishing stuff makes me sad.

I did my wet-hair-in-double-frenchbraids thing yesterday so my hair is all Raphaelite waves today. Happy. I'm wearing my vampire Bite Me tshirt (happy) since my vampire Wanna Neck shirt no longer fits (sad) because of the post-baby boobies (happy?). Also, the baby stopped nursing at 12 months but I can still produce milk. Okay, yay for my body clearly being all about the babymaking and caring of same, but it will shut off at some point, right?

One of the freshwater fishies (a clown loach) died this morning (sad), probably just natural causes, everyone else in the tank appears to be healthy and fine.

I was going to make a new icon for Stasha (because apparently it's a hobby of mine :P it's fun!) but couldn't figure out how to do what I wanted to do. I hate it when I know EXACTLY what I want to do but have no idea how to do it.

Warnings to the Stasha: Leslay content below!
Dinner with Tom and Leslay tonight. She'll be making some fabulous chicken in mole sauce thing. We should bring an appetizer - she suggested taco salad, which from a her being a hostess standpoint is a great suggestion - easy to make, travels well, meshes well with the menu theme, etc... but I am actually kind of enh on taco salad. However, I can't think of a good replacement appetizer that still fits the theme and is more exciting, so who knows.

Yeah, you're not posting much more than you were... at least just by a quick glance at your calendar...

However, you're aware of it, so hopefully that will change.

About the fish, we should probably do a water change anyways. Don't know what happened to the ammonia levels. I'm going to assume that we didn't catch the dead fish right when it passed to the next world.

About the dress, if you want me to stop by a fabric store on my way home one night, just let me know what you need, and I'll pick it up. (Specific width & length of the bias tape, if there's other stuff needed)

About the dinner, we talked about the 7 layer dip thing last night? Did you want to change from that?

Well, according to folks here at the office, this is a decent place to start to get ideas.

I'm curious about the cute 50's dress pattern; which is it?
