This is just going to skim a lot of things, not sure if I'll post a more in-depth thing later, but I wouldn't hold my breath...

Have been very tired for the last week-ish. Think I did okay anyway. Lots of family socialness and a pretty needy little boy but I think it all went well.

Summary of events:
Wednesday - reminded that we were doing a dinner thing with Mike & Shannon on board one of the boats. My mom was supposed to be bringing me the baby but ended up keeping him and we picked him up afterward. The dinner thing was good - yummy food and got to meet the MOH and her SO as well as spend some time with the bride&groom-to-bes. Looked at the boat the wedding would be on and went over last-minute details. Also, got incredibly hooked by a TV show, Prison Break. I'm not an anti-TV person, but I usually don't watch it, so getting addicted to a show is big news in my world.

Thursday - Trudi arrived, and we went out to Casa Orozco for dinner. My goodness, that place just gets yummier every time. It was a bit loud and busy - in retrospect, I wish we'd chosen to eat outside, but who knows... maybe it would have been just as busy out there.

Friday - official rehearsal dinner at Los Olivas (sp?) in Fremont. Pretty yummy, although things seemed disorganized... might have just been the result of a mesh of two families and such? Alexander was still in a pretty clingy space, wanting daddy first but willing to take me instead. So blahblahblah... yeah. Got talked into taking leftovers with the intention of dropping them off to my mom the next day, but forgot to do so. Think they probably should be tossed now. Oh, and earlier in the day, we all trooped over to Shannon's mother's house where Beth was making the wedding cake. Yummmmm cake scraps.

Saturday - wedding goodness! Got up early, got ready (I ended up wearing the red burnout dress I got), quick dash to Target for last minute items and Starbucks breakfast, picked up groom, dropped baby off at my mom's for Morgan to watch, hit Jack in the Box for additional drive-thru breakfast items, arrived at boat area with plenty of time to spare. The ceremony was very brief but nice, the bride was looking lovely and got teary during her vows, food was yummy, mingled with people and took lots of pictures and had a pretty good time. Afterwards, Beth caught up to us in the parking lot and we invited her to come back to our place for a late dinner. Don't remember much - I was actually a bit stressed what with everything going on and feeling constantly like I needed more sleep and having Alexander be so demanding (although I think Nate took the brunt of it this go-round). I tried to make the coconut rice that was so yummy at the birthday luau a couple years back but for some reason it didn't turn out. People stayed late, making it impossible for Alex to go to sleep (loud voices and laughter keeping him awake) but he was too tired to be anything but cranky so I ended up just bringing him back into his room with me to nurse and have quiet time.

Sunday - family gathering at Nate's dad's house. Alex was doing a little better and was able to be social with some of the others. It was nice, kinda low-key stress-free time, which was nice.

Monday - our seven year anniversary. We've planned to celebrate it next weekend because this one was so full of other things. We did do a nice take out from a restaurant we like, candlelight and fine china and such. Okay, my brain is seriously mush, so that's it for updating.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Had to say it before I forgot! I can't believe how long its been. I should remember since I was there and it was the same year Jared was born. Hard to believe.

I need more pictures of that baby and his nutty parents. :D
