sublimatedangelI feel like I never update. Probably because I never do.
Volley of strange dreams. Alexander couldn't sleep, which meant neither could I, and he was disinclined to sleep late and make up for it. Dreams of party clothes, nosebleeds, clandestine videotaping, time-lapse films, strange museums, nazis, baby girls, and explaining things to people that never happened. And other stuff that doesn't come to mind at the moment. I wonder what blood, stripes, and waterfalls say about my subconscious?
Cassie's wedding this week. Rehearsal dinner thing on Wednesday, need to decide what to wear. Need to shop for cufflinks for Nate. Thursday is the big day, have dress and everything ready, not 100% sure what I'll be doing to my hair but that can wait til the day. Friday there's a brunch thing Karen is doing that we'll be going to, mostly so out of town friends can get some Xander love in while they're here.
My mom misses him like a crack fiend. She's recovering from pneumonia and has had to subsist on pictures and webcam appearances. Doctor has cleared her for babysitting on Thursday (crosses fingers against relapse) so she will get to see him soon.
Nate doesn't have to work from tomorrow til Monday, thank Christ. We're all tired of the endless overtime that's been in place lately. ::bites Nate's work:: 'Course, we'll mostly be doing wedding stuff, but it should be happy relaxing time, and if the weather will support it, he and his dad are going to go 4-wheel a bit on Friday or Saturday, so that should be fun for him.
