This reminds me of how we named Ethan "Ethan Thomas" and were a little concerned that people would call him "ET" (ref the movie). I insisted we wouldn't call him that and wouldn't allow it, either. Of course, despite that some of Joyce's family insisted on calling him "little ET baby", et al, which pissed me off to no end.
