Nov. 24th, 2004 04:19 amKinda quiet over here. Saturday was fabulous fun with the girls... Alexander was a peach for almost the entirety of the trip, although he wanted to be right with me for the most part.. I don't really have a problem with that. He's been feeding near-constantly lately, which means probably a growth spurt.. ha, makes me wonder how his previous incredible rate of growth should be described.
Sunday was... okay. Alex was great for most of the day but started getting fussy in the evening... could be just too much new and exciting this weekend, could be Nate's dad's place... hard to say. But he got to meet his great-Oma and his great-uncle Eddie, which is happy and good. A little bit of family drama (dinner was not what was arranged, was late (see fussy baby), and they keep trying to trick us into coming for Thanksgiving) but not too bad.
Nate stayed home sick on Monday, which was mostly mellow with a little bit of running around. Today was another veg kinda day... I've been just staying cuddled in the living room for the most part, watching my newly-acquired Buffy DVD goodness. It works out well since the baby has been high maintenance - I've not gotten a lot accomplished, but I'm feeling good and rested instead of exhausted.
Also, constant feeding during the day = engorgement at night, thus the entry. Owie. Think I can go get some more sleep now, but I'm sure it will be back when I wake up.

I can only imagine the quantities that kid's going to be eating when he's a teenager! Maybe you should start saving for a food fund now...
