Mar. 30th, 2005 01:32 pmNo jury duty for me, although I did get to make the trip out to the courthouse this time.
Strange but true: my hairline is doing the opposite of receding. So, beneath my bangs I have a second, shorter set of bangs (an inch or so long) growing in. It consistently weirds me out, but I imagine at some point they'll get long enough and merge seamlessly with the rest of my hair.
Managed to get in a teensy bit of outside playtime in yesterday - God, I miss working in my yard/garden. Got some weeds pulled although there remains quite a bit left to do.
Speaking of, on Easter, I found a lovely stained glass butterfly garden decoration waiting for me in the front flowerbox. A very nice surprise from a mystery bunny.
Xander is loving his little feeder toy thing with the mesh bag. He gets a chunk of frozen banana to gnaw to mush every day. We're probably going to start him on mashed potatoes this week, too, so then he'll have even more solid food options.
Desperately wanting a new LJ icon. Need to figure out how to hook up the camera to the TV, then maybe I can play with taking some self portraits.
