(no subject)

I've been quiet on LJ lately, but I am reading.

Nate told me there was a thing in the news that most of the east coast lost power. Eep! Hope those of you on that side are safe and sound.

Nate's dad has been having some more trouble... Nate went down today to take him to be admitted into the hospital once more, and to spend some time with him. Digestive problems and possibly related secondary infections, I'm sure noone wants further details. Luckily I have gotten a few people hooked on Y!PP so I was able to while away the time and not think about Nate being gone, for the most part.

What else to say? I'm feeling pretty static, like I'm not accomplishing anything. This is probably because I'm not. Sigh. But that's part of why I'm quiet, I think... I just need some time to work through things. Don't make anything out of it if you don't hear from me for a little while. Not that I'm a bundle of outgoing-ness normally.

This sounds more melancholy/dead than I meant it to be... that's a result of the hour, I think, and nothing more. Mind too jumbled to sleep, and not sure what to do with myself in the meantime.
