Went to the library to check out some books, but they are closed (moving). Boo. I will have to figure out where the branch library is.

Need some interfacing for the clothes I'm making for baby boy. So that project is on hold until I make it up to the fabric store.

Our grapevines have wee little grapes. It's the first year we'll have any, and I'm hoping they are table grapes and not wine grapes. Time will tell, if the sun doesn't kill them. So far, heat casualties in the garden have been relatively few. And made up for by the fact that my peonies have decided to bloom this year. So yay for garden-y stuffs. Tomorrow I get to go play with Leslay's garden. And she is baking me a berry lavendar crisp. Yummmmmmm....

I remember when I was just a kid (like sometime around from 4 to 8 or some such) we had a grape vine at our house, and it grew really basic small purple grapes. They were okay when ripe, very sweet, but a little earthy. When they were just growing and were still green and very hard, they were just right for throwing at each other! hehehe

Heh... well I don't think we will be throwing any of ours :P they are still the teeny tiny green guys, just barely shedding the flower petals. We have several vines, but only one has grapes (so far at least) so I'm not sure if they're all the same kind or not. Maybe we'll have a variety!

If they aren't any good, we'll still get a ton of grapes from Nate's dad's house... he has vines trained over the back porch lattice, and there are always way too many.
