sublimatedangelWell the days just seem to be flying past, and I'm not sure what there is to journal about. Nate's got stress at work. My mom's boss is retiring this year, so tonight I'm going to go play with a bunch of the girls the office who want to put together a scrapbook for him. It's a little odd, because so many of them remember me and hear about me and feel like they know me, but I don't remember much about them. I wonder if this is how other people feel around me.
Still, it will be fun to do some crafty stuff. I think this is how my mom makes up for not being able to tell people I'm in some amazing career, she shows off my artistic side. Eh, pride where you can get it I guess.
The yards are nice. Starting to get into regular watering and hoping it makes a difference during the blazing summer. The fishies in the pond are getting nice and playful/personable again. We're going to go play with Tom & Leslay this weekend with the rototiller, and do stuff in their yard. It will be good to see them - I suck at social juggling and it always feels like I don't get enough time with any of my friends and family. Also summer related, my stepdad had a pretty major thing happen with his back, and thus a/c has not been installed and I'm not sure if it will be before the summer temps start hitting the triple digits. I think that sounded uncaring, but it's not - I just don't know what to say. That generation is only becoming more prone to death and injury every day, and there's not much I can do about it. I try my best to just forgive the past and love them while they're here.
Well, I think that's depressing enough for one spring day. Have a good weekend everyone.
