Weekend went quickly. Saturday was a blur of making sure Frodo was awake all day long in an effort to get a full night's sleep. It did work, which was pretty super. We also were able to pick up my FedEx delivery - yay! Visited the happy fish store and got a pump we wanted for the big saltwater tank. Now everything is in place once more (except the skimmer which we'll add later on) and the water is busily becoming less cloudy as the stirred up sand settles. I don't remember much else.
Sunday we were down in Modesto. Nate's dad recently has been able to transition to walking with a walker, which we're all pretty thrilled about. Showed him the teeny tiny ultrasound picture and fixed the dining table while we were there. It was good to see Cassie who for the most part is more easy going than she's ever been before. After we got home, we watched Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels which I quite liked. I think I find young English delinquints charming. Anyhow, it was fast and ya know, the accents and whatnot, so I'll have to watch it again to make sure I got everything. Anyhow, most amusing.
Today has been very wet. Took an unintentional nap but woke up in time to get ready for class. Heavy rain... was hoping it would let up but instead had to drive in it. On the bright side, my wipers like heavy rain much better than light rain and were absolute dolls. I was hoping enough people would cut and parking would be supah but no such luck in that corner. Intelligent girl that I am, I wore jeans that touch the ground and they just adored the puddles and made themselves one with them. On the bright side, learned more interesting stuff about Native Americans. Decided to keep my Waterlily book too, I think. Rain had abated by the time I got out of class, though it's been off and on since I got home. The cats are bad and knocked over plants and spread dirt around the hall/dining room for me to clean up. It's a good thing they redeem themselves most of the time. My wedding rings have gotten very loose and keep slipping about and annoying me while I type. Course, I am more easily annoyed of late.
