Happy domesticity
Dec. 12th, 2003 01:37 pmMy kitchen smells of rosemary and home baked bread.
My living room is a twinkling and there are beautifully wrapped presents beneath the tree.
Kitties are curled up together on the bed instead of in the warm load of laundry waiting to be folded.
Tomorrow I get to go sew and have tea surrounded by the lovely and wonderful women that I'm lucky enough to call friends. Yesterday I had a wonderfully romantic evening with my husband, who still continues to amaze and delight me.
My knitting needles are itching to be used again. My creme brulee torch is gleaming in anticipation of it's first use this weekend.
Does life get any better? I'm not sure I could take it. I'm filled with peace, contentment, and the depthless, quiet joy of a happy home.
