Saturday was lots of fun. Bob does stained glass as a hobby and has been trying very hard to reel me in for a while now. I've resisted and just drawn patterns for him, but it was so hard to say no to his enthusiasm at his bday celebration, so I went ahead and made a small piece. It's a little suncatcher style thing of apples - pretty fall colors and it was easier than I thought it would be. And now I have yet another craft knowledge/experience in my repetoire. He's anxious for us to come up and have a whole day to play with glass, and I think I'll take him up on it - should make for some nice xmas things. Also watched silly 80's stuff on VH1.

Sunday was mellow as Nate was down in Modesto for much of the day. In the evening we did pick up a pretty shrimp for the saltwater tank. So far he is adjusting well.

Paris... It's coming soon. I just realized that it's less than two weeks away. Leslay sent me fantastic info on lots of wonderful things, though there are a couple I still need to ask her about. It's driven my excitement level right back up though - I can't wait. Getting together with Stasha this week to get more organized and finalize plans. Ooooh I am looking forward to being in Paris again!

What else did I mean to talk about? Life with my bunnykins is so rewarding. We take good care of each other. My kitten Arwen is adorable and has spent the morning cuddling and playing in cardboard boxes, and chasing shoelaces. The big cats are loving but don't understand why they have to stay inside until after Halloween. I have a big pumpkin waiting to be carved and then will have pumpkin seeds to bake. I've gotten some bulbs in the ground but still have more - the sudden warm temps have delayed planting.

Life is good.
