sublimatedangelHair color update: Not bad, but I think I have to either go more red or much more burgundy... this in-between color is a bit strange. Matches the box lovelily but (to me anyhow) looks like I was trying to dye burgundy and didn't use enough, or something. It's been awhile since I've done it, had forgotten how tricksy it is. So not unhappy, but I'll probably choose a slightly different shade in the future.
Took Jay driving for a bit today in preparation for his licence test. Went well. Stopped by Aquarium Concepts to look at pretty fishes and inquire about the lighting used on their clownfish nanoreef. Not enough for my nefarious plans and then the guy was trying to talk me into lighting equipment that was much too big for the space I have. Sigh. My sweet and diminutive nature seem to lead people to believe I don't know what I want and should just hand over money and trust them to give me what I really need. Bah. Guess I'll just have to try to research on my own.
Came home to a small amount of ants invading - sprayed them before they can build up a full-scale assault. They were wandering not concentrated so I think they were just exploring or looking for water/shade, not after anything particular.
