Got to go walking and talking with Jennifer yesterday... yay for getting some exercise and even more yay for getting to chat with her. We are going to have sewing goodness this Sunday, oh yes! So yay on theoretically actually accomplishing sewing goodness. Rust is coming soooon....

Last night my sweetheart brought me home roses and then took me out to the restaurant at Wente for dinner... mmmm much yumminess. Way too much food, and divine desserts. I am happy to have flexpoints, that's all I'll say about that, but it was really a very lovely evening. Mmmmm I love dessert.

Our anniversary is creeping up very quickly and quietly! Thankfully I have already gotten him one thing but we are terrible and I've already given it to him. I need to shop for a really appropriate card and pick up a little thing or two for him to open. Our big gift is a new digital camera.... I am eagerly munching up reviews and am leaning towards the Fuji Finepix S2 Pro, with the Canon EOS 300D and the Sigma SD9 in hot pursuit. Have done much research and now I need to actually get to hold them in my grubby hands, practice with them if possible, and make a final decision. Well, and look at more sample pics taken with the cameras, because you can never look at too many pretty pictures. If anyone has input, feel free to comment below....

What is happening with the old digital camera?

Nothing particular happening with the old one... right now it's missing in action... not *exactly* missing, we just haven't bothered to look around for it. It's a very old camera though, and an upgrade is a good idea. Plus now that I know how to kinda use a *real* camera, there are alot of manual features/overrides that I want that just plain didn't used to be available. New camera makes Amy happy although I'm sure it will take me awhile to master using it :) The old camera is still good for plain point-and-shoot applications, but not really for art quality photography. There's so much more I yearn to be able to do, and soon I will at least have a camera capable of it.
Then we just have to work on making the photographer capable ;)
