Kitten update:
Arwen is the cutest thing. No, really, she is. Anyhow, she is getting bigger. She has a cute little collar (I finally got to use one with a bow!) and nametag... altered it to fit snugger but it's still pretty loose and she has a tendency to put a leg through it and wear it as a sash instead of a collar. She's big enough to crawl in and use the regular litterboxes which is great, she is completely box trained at this point. She still has to learn that cats can jump alot! Usually she just climbs onto the bed or up my leg into my lap. If I don't have a leg down for her to climb, she'll make her little squeak-meow until I do. *Definitely* likes to climb up herself and not be "helped" up. She does do little hops when we're playing, the usually "I think I'm pouncing and have no idea how silly I look" kitten hops. Her eyes are getting adjusted to the light and so you can see her irises more often... she has greyish-olive colored eyes. She's on wet kitten food now (sometimes spiked with a taste of Stage 2 mix to get her interested) and I'm working on transitioning her to the dry kitten food. She's still VERY lovey and hopefully always will be... she loves to cuddle on my lap or shoulder when I'm on the computer, and likes to run around underfoot when I'm not.

New fishtank update:
Tank is up and running. Salinity is at a good point and I was able to put in the live sand today. Need to get some test kits and then it won't be long til we're putting the live rock in. Yay! Boring for you, exciting for me.

Not boring at all. Yay, kitty! Actually, Joyce and the boys were trying to convince me to adopt another kitty from down near a friend of Alex's...no way!!

Cool on the fish tank. How big is it, btw?

It's a 26 gallon bowfront, a bit taller than you'd expect instead of long/wide. I might've wanted something just a wee bit bigger, but it's a nice tank. Right now it's pretty empty... just water, and alot (5") of sand on the bottom. At least there is some fun stuff in the live sand, like bits of dead seaweed.... haha, I'm a maniac. The filter is on which has two output spouts, and we have another current-making item inside the tank, so there's some nice water movement. I just want to fill it up with pretty stuff! I'm going to drive Nate crazy, he's already feeling ummm... I don't know how to describe it. Like I'm making decisions without talking to him, or talking to him but the decision is made? It's not that I want to, it's just that I spend time researching stuff and so sometimes I rule out things or want to upgrade things because of what I've learned. Still, we're both pretty happy & excited about it.
