Well, Saturday was fun. Nate & I and myriad other folks showed up to help Leslay and Tom move into their new place. Awwww it is cute! Lots to love about it even though it's not perfect... reminds me to concentrate on the positive at home as well as everywhere but home :) Many trips up and down stairs, many trips back and forth with the cars... after a certain point, I left the major moving to the men and helped with the unpacking, the cooking, the planning, the building.... JoEllen was a doll and she hit it off with me immediately... surprising cuz that doesn't happen often. I'm not quite ready to like her as much as she likes me, but it was alot of fun. All the boys were great and did an insane amount of work... Joe at LucasArts even got called away in the middle (he was on call) and STILL CAME BACK FOR MORE! The boys are amazing. Before we left, everything was moved (except some cleaning products they'll need for the old place) and the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were completely unpacked and put away. Phenomenal. Annnnnnd we fed the boys lots of yummy things. I was introduced to "Nancy's Mini-Quiches" which are mmmmmm yummy and Tucker's ice cream which was pretty good but not as singularly amazing as I've been led to believe :) Yes, I subsided mostly on appetizers, candy, cookies, and icecream, but I *did* limit myself alot, said no to alot of naughty food, and definitely got my exercise in.
