My peonies are poking up little leafy patches. Yay, they're still alive! Last year I barely got to see them enough to tell what they were and didn't get to enjoy them. I do know that they are pink. The summer sun did them no good at all and they quickly died back. Maybe we'll get some nice-but-not-scorching days and they can make pretty flowers for me.
Violets are just about all gone except for the foliage, lily of the valleys are growing sloooooowly slowly, wisteria is still blooming for a bit longer, roses are budding up like crazy with a couple early ones opening, the four-leaf clover bulbs I got months ago are putting out clovers, the windowsills are full of germinating seeds and little seedlings, the container plants outside are all alive but I wish they would grow FASTER, etc etc etc.
Kitties are both back in good health, everything is well in the realm of the fishes, except I can't seem to eliminate the snails that got in the big hex tank in the living room. Bah. I don't want to write a paper because I am a total slacker today. Off I go to study and/or procrastinate.
