When it rains, it pours...

Should be back to my normal posting self in short order! Class went fabulously and I got several compliments on my hippopotami! And yes, I heard the word "charming" confirming my suspicions that construction paper is both a cheap and endearing medium to work in.
Came home to Great Things in the mail... one of them is bday goodness for Nate, so I can't open that, but it made me smile just to see a certain special friends name on the box. :D Aaaaaand... my plumeria cutting (which a few weeks ago I was going to give up on) arrived! Fat and healthy and looking like it can't wait to get started! I am unaccountably excited, but that's how I am. So my day is going great! And will just be getting better as Nate and I have romantic candlelight, lobster, and strawberries to look forward to this evening (in celebration of his birthday) and that's just dinner. I feel like the happiest girl in the world right now, and can't wait to spend some time with my sweetheart.
This weekend was good - St. Patrick's Day goodness over chez Stasha's on Friday, a very nice, very small gathering of friends for curry and birthday celebration on Saturday, and we spent some time with Nate's dad & sister on Sunday. His dad is still making good progress and things continue to look good for the future - it's a slow process but he's doing great and I'm just really glad about that.
