Ah stuff... let's see...

School's going well, if off to a slow start. I'm sure I'll be getting busy soon enough. Watercolor is a little boring - too much talking, not enough painting... but that should pick up as we get past the "I must assume you've never done anything artistic" part of the introduction. Today we learned about making new colors from primary colors! Exciting! Heh, but me and my painting buddy/crush have a good time anyway. Math is a little more challenging... we're touching on some stuff that I've forgotten how to do, and that will get harder as I go along... but in a good way. Yay math geekiness :) and uh... stuff! School is good.

Got alot of stuff in the ground on Monday too... lots of bulbs that didn't get planted during the initial round in autumn, and started some more seeds... morning glories in the urns that

horrorvenus gave me, and some other nice things here and there... Our little ornamental apple (or whatever it is) tree is looking lovely with dark red blossoms starting to open all over. Lots of things coming up but most of it isn't flowering yet... unlike the sourgrass which desires to cover up anything in the yard under two feet high. Alas, it's days are numbered as I continue to pull it up undaunted... Why does writing about gardening always make me slip into "battle-scene" mode? Heehee... anyhow, it's looking good.

Spent Friday night gaming (lots of fun had), Saturday night with Mike & Shannon (did you know there's a "Truth or Dare" version of Jenga? It rocks muchly - I need to own it myself I think.), and then went over to visit

missmorte on Sunday for crayon goodness (I love to color) and watching Chocolat, which I really liked and had been wanting to see for awhile.

Also, Nate's coworker is giving us an aquarium he doesn't want anymore... yippee! I think we're going to put it in the living room. Nate's bringing it home tonight so we can see what it's like and decide all that. Probably won't be up and running immediately, but I'm still happy. Heh, I'm a sucker for free stuff, it just makes me soooo happy!

Okee, I think that's enough of a post... I need to remember to post regularly, so it doesn't stack up so much.
