Sep. 22nd, 2001 10:33 pmHmmm... well on an interesting note -
Apparently, friends-only entries are not as protected as I thought they were... for instance, my sweetheart, who does not have even an lj acct, can read the friends-only entries... He says it has something to do with how his browsers set up... but uh... ack!
So, just thought I should let everyone know... if you thought it was safe, it maybe isn't...

Date: 2001-09-23 01:09 pm (UTC)My boyfriend can read the "friends only" posts from my computer because I'm always logged onto my account, and the cookies enable the browser to identify the user. But on his own computer, which I've never logged onto my account from, he can't see the locked posts.
Check and see... if you use his computer, or whatever he's using to read from... go to a livejournal page and see if it says "Hello, angelofrapture!" at the top. If it does, he's logged in as you, and can see any post you have. If it doesn't... well, then... yes, there's something screwy.
