Friday Changeling was off since a few of the key players were sick but Nate & I went over to play card games. I wore my pretty velvet dress that was recently bequeathed to me, I really like it. Need to take a picture in it so everyone can experience the cuteness of pretty dresses.
Saturday - Nate had that all-day game thing at Duane's, so I tagged along and hung out with Stasha since she wasn't playing either. Good time at the doggie park with Wolfie and Siouxsie - I like going with, they are so much fun to watch running around. And I can enjoy spending time with their dogs since I like them but am not going to get one of my own. We didn't make it to see Harry Potter but we did do a little shopping and both found something we wanted. Then we did pretty hairstyles and watched Elizabeth, which I'd been wanting to see. Nate lost the game but had a good time anyhow, so that was good.
Sunday - Stasha came over in the afternoon so Nate could do things to her car... we couldn't find a copy of her car book locally, so he wasn't able to do as much as he had hoped. We hit the mall briefly (they close early on Sundays... bah malls!) and then went to WalMart. I didn't really need anything but ended up with a few items that were so cute and cheap that I had to get them.
Non-weekend related: Things are growing all over in my backyard. One kind of mystery bulblet is popping up everywhere, and a distinctly different kind joined in last week. When I say "everywhere", I mean they are popping up right in the middle of the dirt patch that I usually use as a walkway. Now I don't know where to step and I don't want to kill off these industrious little plants before they bloom. I will just have to be very very careful....
