Ah holiday

sublimatedangelSince I had today off of school, I decided to take it easy. That may sound funny to those of you that work, but the truth is that when I'm not at school, I'm usually pretty busy doing stuff in the yard or around the house. So today I officially loafed about with occasional accidental forays into weeding and laundry and such. Hard to break habits I guess :)
Still spent way too much of my day online, but I got to chat with a good friend and browse about looking at solar power and such. So it was good.
The weekend itself was nice too; and Cassie is engaged, which just made me all weepy-proud. Good grief, I'm going to be pathetic if I ever have a little girl that grows up and gets married. But it was nice to meet Rudy and he seems nice, and I'm happy for them even if they are moving at a crazy-fast pace with no real explanation as to why. Wedding slated for this March, sometime.
Current to-do's:
Get Thanksgiving details pinned down.
Go by Michael's and fill out a job app... want to get some temporary part-time work so we can have extra money during the holidays and such.
Make top-secret xmas crafts for friends.
Wrap bought xmas presents and figure out/shop for the remainder of the people on my list.
Make pumpkin roll for Jay.
Make pumpkin roll for Amy.
That's enough of a list for now... will add more as the days go by.
