sublimatedangelWeekend over. Mmmmrrr the weekends are always the busiest for me. Then I use the rest of the week to recover from them.
Good weekend though. We got to see lots of people up at Bob & Melanie's, and went with Bob to the stained glass store. He had a little votive holder for me which I unfortunately forgot up there when we were leaving. Then chatted with Jay a bit before heading over to Duane & Stasha's place. Helped Stasha a little with unpacking and ended up with another bag of her stuff, including some seeds and some more of the gardeny stuff Naomi left behind that I might be able to salvage. And of course the potholder she made ESPECIALLY for me :P
Sunday I had planned to bathe the kitties and finally make it out for sewing circle - instead we ended up painting the house. Wanted something between blue and purple, and nothing was right between... ended up erring on the side of purple I think. But it's all painted and it looks good I think. I walk out and it just grabs me by surprise though - will have to get used to it. Half the time I think, OMG that is purple. Then the other half I'm like, No, it's not that purple, it's a bluish purple. So the house looks good but the kitties are dirty (well as dirty as kitties get) and no sewing. Maybe next Sunday I'll make it.
Also cut Jay's hair as it was getting a little long. Still need to take some pictures of him though. And I sold one of the books I put up on Amazon! Will be getting that out in the mail today. Yay one less piece of clutter! And speaking of books, I finished Across the Nightingale Floor which was actually kinda neat.
Well, have things to do so that is it for now...
