Well um.

So yesterday I noticed our little guppie fountain out front had a kinda low water level... about half full. So I mixed up some fish safe water to add to it and when I went out today to fill it, I noticed there were alot of dead little fishes :( fishes that were alive and swimming and healthy yesterday. I'm not sure what happened to them. Anyway, I emptied out nearly all the water, and removed the bodies... I did find one that was alive! One of the bigger (original) ones... he was moving sluggishly. So I put him in some fresh water right quick and am hoping he perks up.

In the meantime, there are lots of guppies in the snail tank, so I can reseed the fountain... I'm just not sure what to think. There wasn't anything in the fountain that wasn't always there, and we haven't been spraying *anything* at all in the last few weeks. I'm letting it settle just a bit and then I'll add maybe two feeder guppies tomorrow and see if they survive. Not sure what else to do. If they die, perhaps I'll fill it with dirt and use it as a planter?

I'm sorry about your fishes, sweetie. Sometimes they just die for no apparent reason (as has happened with ours). I'm sorry, too, for being so absent this week while you've been having a hard time (seemingly...from what I read). Forgive me, I pray you...I hope things are looking up and you have a good weekend.
