Feeling better this morning. Having quality kitten time is good, even if it means I don't get a full night's sleep anymore. Big thanks to horrorvenus for rescuing me yesterday and to Nate and Jeff for always being supportive of me when I get whiny. You guys are the best, I don't know what I'd do without you.

Ruth (neighbor across the street) was friendly again yesterday... heehee, it just makes me happy when people are nice to me. Anyway, it seems like that's not something I can take for granted anymore. I'm not sure if my expectations are too high, or what, but alot of people in my life aren't living up to them. Guess I need to decide whether to lower my standards or what... I've never cut someone out of my life, even when they deserved it, but maybe I'll have to start. We'll see.

Talking about my family yesterday to Jennifer makes me miss them. I've never had my mom's knack for socializing on my own, so it's hard for me to do the visiting thing. Guess I better learn. It's so strange though, how out of touch with everyone I am, compared to the way it used to be and the way it is with Nate's family.

Frodo has lost his collar... not sure where it is. Need to choose a vet and get them all checked out. Of course, Nate and I will also have to see if we want to switch doctors to someone more in the area. Dentists too.

We've been taking our pets to Animal Hospital-Livermore ever since I can remember. It's next to the Vine theatre. I've heard good things about Del Valle Animal Hospital also.
