I haven't really updated, just silly things. I plead lack of time, whether it's true or not.
However, no photography today so I don't have to leave as early.
We officially get the house keys today - it has been both amazingly fast and forever. So much to do, but we will find a way. Nate is getting off early so we can see the carpet people again (we decided on the wood, and need to return the samples. Also, the carpet we chose was discontinued so we need to choose again). So after school I am going to pick up some of the essentials (bathroom stuff, kitchen stuff, cleaning agents, etc) and head out there to begin cleaning and stocking. Then Nate shall pick me up for carpet apptment. Then we shall head out to Changeling. Thought about not going but really, there's not a ton we can do today anyway, and we both like the time with friends. Might miss next week though, depending on how things are going.
Phone, water, power, etc, etc is all taken care of... it's a good thing because our lawn is looking very sad. *Reminder to self* Take a phone to new house. Official emails of phone number and address should be going out shortly. It feels like everyone is wanting to help which makes for wonderful warm fuzzy feelings, but I'm not sure how to organize it all. So, I'm not ignoring the offers, I'm just figuring out what to do with them right now.
Just focusing on not being overwhelmed here. It's all good things, but I'm bad at juggling everything. I'm sure it will all come together, just taking it one step at a time I guess. But whee! Our little house is officially ours at lunchtime!

We've learned that we can put things off. OK, so we did not do the new flowerbed - the dirt will still be there next week. Well, in our case, the clay and rock...
