Ah, September has just been flying by... filled with good things but I wish I had more time for all of it. October promises to be much the same, with two separate events happening that I really, really want to do but may have to choose between. We're leaning towards making all the guys (Alex, Adam, & Nate) be Jedi types for Halloween. It's kind of boggling because I've never been *that* into Star Wars (horror of horrors, I know) but I think it'll be fun. I've been in costume research/planning mode which is always enjoyable. Not sure I can go so far as to use a SW themed costume for myself though. I did pick up some awesome cheshire-cat-inspirational material a while back, so leaning more towards that.... though I have to figure out what I want to do with it and also where I put it :P
In other news, OMG MY KID IS FINALLY OLD ENOUGH TO BE INTO LEGOS, YOU GUIS. This is truly fantastic news and I've been having a lot of vicarious fun with building him things which he then destroyanates and needs fixed. And hey, it makes a change from the Theoretical Things to Feed Each Other game (his other favorite at the moment), and variety is a good thing. Plus he has Star Wars legos and can practice saying "Darth Vader" and "Stormtrooper" and stuff like that. It's... *character research*!
