Since she seemed particularly interested in my response...
7 things that make me angry
It's true, I don't upset easily, and I consider myself a pretty tolerant person. These things push my buttons:
1. Being invisible. By which I mean, people not acknowledging/answering me when I speak directly to them, for no apparent reason.
2. People who put their wants above their children's needs. Deciding to have and keep children means taking on responsibility for providing for them and caring for them.
3. The incredibly high incidence of sexual abuse/rape/harrassment of women in our society. It's a very sad commentary on the world we live in when I automatically assume every woman I meet has been a victim of this in one form or another.
Hmmm... getting harder to come up with these.
4. Violence caused by intolerance. Whether it's a result of racism, an objection to someone else's sexual preferences, etc... I try not to judge people for how they view the world, but committing violence and harrassment goes beyond your right to be an idiot.
That's about all I have for now. There's a lot in the world that makes me SAD, but anger is a rarer emotion. May add to post if I think of anything else.
