Happy Fluffy Post of Good Things
Jun. 8th, 2007 01:56 pm1. Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine! I had one as a kid that I loved beyond reason. We got one yesterday and made sno-cones last night, complete with far-too-sweet FlavorAid syrup. Yay! And Alex loves it/them.
2. Went camping Memorial Day Weekend, which was nice. Mating season or something for the butterflies as there were a kajillion of them swarming around each other. Pretty little wildflowers, good books, bad fishing, beautiful scenery, etc. Alex slept well, which is a new thing for camping, and no lyme disease! Whoo!
3. Water lillies have begun blooming, at least the yellow one has. They are pretty pretty pretty in the pond. The roses and butterfly bush seem to be on steroids or something, and are covered in blossoms. The wee little gardenia I picked up this year is doing quite well and should be blooming soon too. Flowers are happy making.
4. My Mrs. Leslay sent me a random gift! Hee :D Only Leslay could give me something I already have, with the worst possible wrapping job ever, and have me squeeing like a schoolgirl anyhow :) Need to go exchange it for something else just as wonderful.
5. PotC3 - much wonderfulness. I wish they'd given a certain part a little more resolution, but I was quite pleased with how they handled the end of the trilogy. Plus, y'know... yummmm, pirates.
6. Wonderful burlesque show goodness with Miss Stasha in the city. She is the bestest at getting me out of the house to do fun stuff! Not to mention that she's the most socially connected girl I know, and so we had fantastic seats. :::loves on the Miss Stasha:::
7. Ratatouille is out later this month! This is going to be Alexander's first movie in the theater, and I am so excited about it! He's just getting so big ::sniff::
8. My cousin Melissa just had a little girl, and I'm seriously all squishy and awww about it. She's got a big swath of her mama's red hair already, and I'm sure she's just going to be a doll.
9. Lots of people will be in town for the upcoming baby showers! Beth and Trudi will definitely be here in July for Shannon's, and I heard a little rumor that there's a possibilility that Katlyn might be coming down for Matt & Jen's! This is much much happy-making. And they're happening on different days, which is a relief and means that we can definitely be at both showers, which is wonderful.
10. ...can't think of a tenth happy thing, so I'll just reiterate how very very much I love my husband and how wonderful he is. Awww :)
