Wow, yeah, I really need to update more. Let's see, things of interest:

Can't remember if I mentioned, Nate's been looking for a new job? Well, he found a great one and has given notice at work and all that good stuff. He's trying to burn up some of his vacation before he starts the new one, so I haven't been around much lately. We spent last Sunday/Monday/Tuesday down in San Luis Obispo doing tourist-y stuff and hanging out with some SoCal friends who were also vacationing there. Tons of fun, there are pictures, and I really ought to make a long post just about it. Laaaaater. Maybe.

Spring is glorious and I'm loving it. Everything is just gorgeous and growing and the weather is still nice enough to be outside in. The roses are all budding up like crazy and just beginning to bloom. Really, between our stuff and everything in the neighborhood, it's just a pretty little garden walk every day. Can't wait until the water lillies start putting out some blooms (the waters juuuussst gotten warm enough for them to send up leaves, so should be getting ready for flowers).

We dyed easter eggs with my mom tonight and she's coming over tomorrow morning for brunch and easter basket enjoyment with Alex, and we'll probably do a little egg hunt in the backyard if we can get him interested in it. Then we're out to Modesto to see Karl and Karen and Cassie and Mick and CJ for Easter dinner and maybe another egg hunt (they've already given us Alex's basket from them, so it can be delivered here tomorrow morning). Traffic will be crazy, but it should be a good time.
