Meh... Stayed up late last night for a change and then couldn't sleep when I did go to bed. I am a tired Amy this morning. And I woke up dreaming about hybridizing roses - eep! No more caffeine for me after 4 pm!
In other news... I still have a nativity scene in my living room. It resists all plans to be put away. Instead, I have started rearranging the ceramic figures and adding things like "The Giant Persian Cats of Doom and Pink Roses" which seem to be pondering whether to eat baby Jesus first or attack the sheep. Thankfully it is the only xmas decoration I've found that is resisting the clutches of Storage - usually I have a slew of miscellaneous things found throughout the house that somehow evaded being boxed up.
Also, I had gourmet oatmeal for breakfast. Yes, it's true, Quaker has "gourmet" as well as regular. Our very limited poll shows that the banana bread flavor is really quite edible, even with a greater amount of water than I usually use. (I like my oatmeal to be a solid unpourable mass). It has even partially assuaged my cravings for the yummy trail mix granola bars that the lovely Costco sample lady addicted me to.
Hmmmnnn - to read, clean the kitchen, learn via internet, or do yardwork... that is the question.
