Aug. 7th, 2002 12:07 pmTralala... after much suspicion, I have finally decided that the pink flowering things springing up everywhere are not flowering tobacco. Many of the same characteristics, but I just can't stretch the description of star shaped flowers to include what I've got. Perhaps a close relative though. I didn't really want them to be tobacco, mind, but I wanted to know what they were.
The kittens are getting spoiled (big surprise huh?). Nate got them one of the rope bound short scratching posts. The big cat tree will be coming in soon (the bottom got wet somehow... we're allowing it to dry). And we did a little MacFrugalling and got them some jingly bells and kitty treats, etc. They are happy little hellions.
My roses are starting to bloom again. Nate cut one of the white ones for me yesterday, and it's opening up beautifully here on my desk.
Heh, there are bettas in my Linen Source catalog. I maintain that I didn't become obsessed with the pretty little fish, they became obsessed with me. Damn betta stalkers :) I did manage not to buy more when we went to the fish stores yesterday.
